I wonder what it was like for Adam to walk in the garden of Eden with God.  Unfettered by a sin nature, Adam could enjoy His companionship, discussing the different aspects of creation, all in perfect harmony with God’s will.  Having been rescued from the domain of darkness and called to an intimate relationship with the only true God, we are called to “walk in a manner worth of the Lord to please him in all respects” (Col 1:10).   As we grow our relationship with God, the call to become that true disciple of self-denial, cross bearing, and faithfulness grows in our hearts.  The responsibility to bear fruit in our works for His glory bringing Him pleasure , growing in our knowledge of His holy character, and serving as an ambassador in our sphere of influence becomes a burden of the heart.  We want to explore the practical application of this desire that we might indeed please Him in all respects.
